About Eagleclaw Analytics
Built by Coaches. Backed by Data. Driven by Purpose.
Our StoryÂ
Â
We’re a group of former players and current coaches who started Eagleclaw Analytics in 2021 after helping guide our own players through the recruiting chaos of the COVID shutdown. Recruiting has always been challenging—but when everything stopped, it became clear how broken and outdated the process really was.
Families were making major decisions based on secondhand stories like, “That coach doesn’t recruit high school players,” or “Jimmy committed there, and he was really good.” There was no central source of verified, independent information—and too much guesswork for something so important.
With backgrounds in economics, data analysis, and college baseball, we built a solution. Our first tool let players compare their throwing velocity, exit velo, pop time, and more to real current and former college commits—just like students compare GPA or ACT scores to school averages. That tool took off fast.
From there, we created College Prospector, a comprehensive college fit database that helps players find schools that match their game—without compromising academics, cost, or campus fit.
Then the recruiting world changed again: the transfer portal, NIL, eligibility extensions, and shifting roster strategies. So we launched the College Player Tracker—a system tracking over 100,000 players across college baseball and softball. We monitor game performance, transfer movement, and roster trends to help prospects target impactful opportunities.
Today, Eagleclaw pairs that unmatched data with experienced recruiting advisors to offer the most complete and focused service available. We don’t believe in chasing offers. We believe in finding programs where you can compete, grow, and graduate—with clarity, not guesswork.
Meet The Team

Michael Vlasity - Founder and Recruiting Analyst
Michael is the founder of Eagleclaw Analytics and the architect behind the data-driven tools that power its recruiting approach. What started as a response to a broken system—where families relied on rumors and secondhand info to make life-changing decisions—quickly evolved into a mission to bring clarity and objectivity to the process. Michael built the foundation of Eagleclaw by combining firsthand experience in player development with a technical skillset that allowed him to track and analyze what really mattered: how rosters are built, how players move, and where real opportunities exist. From the original college comparison tool to the now industry-leading College Prospector and College Player Tracker platforms, Michael’s work has helped hundreds of families take control of their recruiting journeys. His belief is simple: athletes and parents deserve better information, better guidance, and better outcomes. Eagleclaw was built to deliver all three.

His relationships with college coaches run deep, built over decades of honest communication, talent evaluation, and a commitment to doing things the right way. What sets Mike apart is not just his network—but his belief in developing the whole athlete. He understands that recruiting success isn’t just about stats. It’s about work ethic, coachability, character, and mindset. These are the intangibles Mike looks for in players, and the same standards he holds himself to when advising families. He’s relentless in his pursuit of the best fit for each athlete—not just for the next four years, but for the next forty.
